There are no Vista drivers specifically for the Envy chipset yet. Vista accepted and installed the XP drivers and says that the device is functioning properly. I see output going to the drivers but there is no sound.
Has anyone gotten a system with Envy Audio working?

Help needed with Envy Audio 24BT
James:
I had the same problem and fought for 6 hours to get the sound. I downloaded both drivers the XP and the Vista 64. I could not install the Vista because it said that I had the wrong version so I then decided to install the XP 64. This installed ok but there was no sound coming out even though the program manager said that all was working well. So I decided to run the Vista 64 driver program and lo and behold the sound came out (old theme) The quality is great with no snack , crackle or pops I hope this helps

Try installing the XP 64 and then on top of the run the vista drivers. That did it for me I have the Audigy 2 vlue edition

Thanks. I should have said I have tried both the 32 & 64 bit Vista with the same result. Both 32 & 64 bit XP work fine.
Clarifying this is the Via Envy 24BT Audio, and I'm not sure that there are similarities with Audigy...
